Date: 05 July, 2019.

Place: McDonald, Pennsylvania State, United States.

A couple of weeks ago, a very unusual incident occurred in the small village of McDonald, Pennsylvania.

According to an anonymous report published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) online database, a local woman who was on her way home with her husband affirmed to have seen “a very bright red sphere” hovering over the town.

“My husband and I were on our way home, coming up a hill from 980 Road (from McDonald towards Cecil, in Pennsylvania) when at the top of the hill we both saw a very bright red -almost had some orange on it, too- sphere”, the witness stated. “For a very split second, we both thought it was a firework because it was the 4th of July and stuff, but then quickly realised it didn’t have a smoke tail, no immediate implosion like a firework or noises were made like it could have been a firework -it was absolutely silent”, she described.

The Pennsylvania resident explained that she and her husband also thought it could be a high tower in the distance. “We then thought it was a tower above the trees in the distance (the best way to explain how high this sphere was in the sky was that it was definitely above the distant tree line- 10 or less miles out I’d say- but yet below the clouds) but we both realised we had never seen a tower where this sphere was and it was definitely bigger than a blinking red tower light in the semi short distance”, she asserted.

“We passed through some dense tree area trying to figure out what we just saw and my husband saw it through the trees, but it looked further away and smaller in size through the trees”, the lady expressed. “We attempted to turn at the bottom of the hill to try and follow it, but half way down the road we hadn’t caught any sight of it and thought for how much smaller it was within the last 5 minutes it had probably gotten further away or would have disappeared by the time we could get to a good clearing”, she added.
